Dear Colleagues and Associates,
It is my distinct pleasure and honor, on behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees, to invite you to participate in the First International Symposium entitled:
“Natural Alkaline Waters in the Prevention and Treatment of Cardiovascular and
Renal Diseases – From Science to Practice.”
The symposium is organized by the Serbian Association of Cardionephrology and will bring together, in addition to cardiologists and nephrologists, physicians from a wide range of medical specialties, including physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, and anesthesiology. The active participation of pharmacists, clinical pharmacologists, chemists, and biologists is also considered essential.
Given the complexity and still limited understanding of this topic, a multidisciplinary approach represents the most appropriate framework for the critical evaluation of current scientific evidence and its translation into everyday clinical practice.
The scientific program will consist of invited lectures, interactive sessions with experts from specific fields, poster presentations, workshops, and panel discussions. More than twenty lectures are planned, delivered by distinguished experts from Serbia and abroad, underscoring the scientific relevance and high professional standards of the symposium.
A dedicated session will be organized for the presentation of research conducted by young investigators in both basic and clinical sciences, providing an important platform for their professional development and scientific visibility.
In addition to its scientific scope, the symposium has a strong educational focus. Direct exchange of knowledge and experience remains one of the most effective modes of learning and is expected to facilitate the formulation of balanced and clinically applicable conclusions.
We cordially invite you to join us and actively contribute to the scientific program of the symposium.
We look forward to welcoming you to an inspiring exchange of ideas that may help address current challenges, clarify open questions, and support the application of new insights in daily clinical practice.
Yours sincerely,
President of the Organizing Committee
Prof.dr Sonja Radenković
